Existential psychology and philosophy of Rollo May in the context of humanitarian research of being in the post-industrial and informational-computer world

Abstract

The article presents the main ideas and principles of understanding the reality, world and human existence according to the Rollo May’s concept, the founder of the American version of existential psychology. The connection of his theoretical position including changes of socio-economic, psychological and spiritual factors for the functioning of the post-industrial and modern information-computer society is researched
