Spiritual-ethical dimension of selected methods of alternative medicine

Abstract

Health is an essential and genealogy value. The theme of health is part of the ethical system of every religion. This is primarily the earthly and temporal anchored value without whom the physical life of the believer is virtually impossible. In the current postmodern religiosity, many immanent themes, which is also health, become central religious values. For this reason, the so-called Healing religions (healing cult) receive a wide range. Thus, the practical carriers of the elimination of vertical dimension in modern culture are the methods of alternative medicine. Usually, the functioning of each of them can not be explained without spiritual-religious contexts. For this reason, alternative medicine becomes not only a carrier, but also an unnoticed religious distributor of religious syncretism. The classic example is one of the three reflected methods - the reincarnation therapy that is already reported to the eastern spiritual monism.
