Heroes do not die: requiem for Viacheslav Vsevolodovych Kobrzhytsky

Abstract

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Viacheslav Vsevolodovych Kobrzhytsky, a member of the editorial staff of the international Bulgarian multilingual peer-reviewed special issue of the journal Ideas, who lost his life during the war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. From 2013 to 2025, Viacheslav Kobrzhytsky worked as a literary editor of articles submitted to the journal in English. He was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, Bioethics and History of Medicine at O. O. Bohomolets National Medical University. He was distinguished by his high professionalism and meticulous dedication across multiple areas of work at the departmental, university, and international levels.
