The Phenomenon of belief in the philosophy of Søren Kierkegaard

Abstract
The article reveals the problem of Kierkegaard's interpretation of the notion of faith as a paradox contrary to canonical Christianity. The author concentrates on the concept of "new Christianity" in the philosophy of the Danish thinker, in particular the phenomenon of faith in his views. It is proved that Kierkegaard did not interpret Christianity itself as doctrine, and existential communication. The problem of the relation "God – man, individual – society, the universal – individual", which Kierkegaard reduced to the problem of "thought-action". Also analyzed is the figure of the "knight of faith" - Abraham in the work of S. Kierkegaard
