Tactics and strategy in the conclusions on Ukraine's participation in the PISA-2018 questionnaire in the post-pandemic era
Abstract
The article examines the reasons for the emergence, features and purpose of the international educational and social OECD PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) project. The fact that it is directed not to the exact measurement of school knowledge of primary or junior high school graduates, but to the analysis of the educational sphere of the country and a rough assessment of youth readiness for unexpected challenges of future societies and labour markets is emphasized. One table shows the data for all countries that took part in the PISA-2018 measurements together with Ukraine. It has been proven that the criticism of our students' performance in most of scientific and all journalistic publications of 2019-2020, including the intentions of the educational leadership, are not only superficial, but also devoid of strategic vision and long-term proposals. They do not take into account either the global shift from the COVID-2019 pandemic or the new direction of evolution of all mankind in the coming years. The article envisages the inevitable changes in PISA and other tests, as well as the author's concept of an effective strategy for the development of education in Ukraine in the coming years, based on the increasingly visible phenomenon of accelerating the movement of all mankind to its wise coexistence (noosymbiosis) with the biosphere.
