Abstract

The article considers relevance of transformation of modern world outlook on the basis of assimilation of Buddhist discoveries (emptiness and selflessness of all things and persons, and interdependent existence of mankind). The personality, philosophy and life of His Holiness Dalai Lama the 14th serves as convincing confirmation that inner revolution is feasible: life according to the principles of non-violence and altruism is possible and it corresponds to patrimonial human essence
